we met up with Constanza, who is Rano´s girlfriend and she took us to a really fun uni end of semeester street party it was awesome, and the uni was so cool and covered in awesome graffiti and art and colours ,we drunk this thing called earthquakes which is wine with pineapple ice cream, i ts like a spider smoothie thing.

we were walkig thru the city and this woman came up to me and handed me a flyer and a really intense tone in her voice. i looked at it, it was all in spanish but some words i still understood like, woman, murder, assualt, violence, and i was shit its for a rally , we gotta go. so a few days later we met up with RANO and went to this MASSIVE rally .....it was totally incredibel. the story is that in chile alot of men are murdering there wives, bashing them to death and this was a rally against it, it was fucking huge and all sorts of ppl of different age and class and gender and sub culture. seroiusly like g randmas and punks.....then atfer we went to a teerrrrrible terrrible shit 
salsa karaoke bar with RANO and waited like 2 hours and they never chose our song and did horrible dancing omg and at the end our bill was 60US dollars!!!! arrrgh!!! this is a poster fo r Mapuche solidarity festival and free political prisoners, its like one block from wehre we are staying and one of the first things i noticed, i really wanna go to it.

we are still in santiago hanging out with the street dogs. yesterday we went to this end of year uni party thing it was just students drinking in the uni buttt way better than if it was australia, like instead of boring uni jerks it was interesting switched on people who actually have lives outside of study, and ambitions beyond money. and the uni is covered in crazy design and sweet graffiti and political postering shit, so good. we ate icecream and then a bird did a shit in it and then we ate some more.,
holy shit we went to this big violence against women march the other night there was like 2000 people,, but it was like EVERYONE, across every demographic it seemed. and the middleaged businessmen were just as angry as the 20 yr old girls.! .anyway after the march we got stuck with the worlds most boring guy who WOULDNT STOP TALKING to us. we said "ok we gotta go, bye" and walk away and then he´d follow us and keep talking bullshit bullshit like how japanese people are exactly the same as chilean people (wtf) and trying to teach kati japanese words after she told him she studied japanese for 7 years. so we ended up running away from him in the metro. but the best thing he told us was how he got MUGGED by three dogs!!!!!!! i couldnt stop laughing, like, did you give them your wallet?? he said that people trained the street dogs to rob people but i feel like he just got growled at or something, i mean how would the dogs know if you gave them real money, or you could just give them hotdogs, i mean it´s a stupid plan!! !!
the song She Wolf by shakira has been following me everywhere here!! like i heard it four times while we had stopover in Buenos Aires, i cant believe that´s the first fuckin thing i heard,,, and then yesterday someone was sitting near us playing it over n over on panpipes! argghh!!
there is a national presidential election happening here in about two weeks and im kinda obsessed, but maybe that is boring to talk about here..! buttt one of the guys, Marcos, his nickname is Meo because his initials are M.E.O., but in spanish the word meyo is slang for piss. heh heh. that´s totally the sort of shit i love learning about.

yeah like i hate long haul flig hts sooooooo much wtf . we flew for 14hours to arg entina then waited in buenos aires airport for like 7hours for another flight to chile which took only 2 hours but siting in that airport i was like please,please let us on that plane. PLEASE. i was like calling out to the flight attendants at the counter, please ,please, pleasse ..

the city is cool its beautiful , the old buildings are so important its a pity they are getting knocked down , b ut its cool you walk down the streets and its all like colourful old terrace houses fro m the 50s and 60s in cool colours, and heaps of political graffi ti eve rywehre!! i keep seein the love anarchy symbol ahhaaha and yesterday we saw anarchy and squat.
there is a two day anti imperialism, free political prisoners festival on this weekend, we are gonna go ,i saw this big wheatpasted street poster and i said to shelagh i must go and show our solidaridad (solidarity) but its hard to tell with this stuff cuz some ppl we have asked are like, hmmm we dont know anyhting about that its probably the communist party..... i am unsure, i mean if there correct i guess its like how if you were in australia first time and saw all those socialism posters you would be like, wow im totally against homophobia and look here, a poster advertising a talk about this!! perfect!! hahahahahaha but actually so sh it..

well since being here i really really have felt that studying permaculture for this last year has been so soso important and relevant, especially coming to a place so differnt to australia and im really excited about going back to school next year and doing more stuff. there is so much actions we can take to make small and big differences with permaculture knowlege HOLY SHIT man.
oh yeah made friends with this fully sick awesome kind of grandma lady on the plane called sarra , she is peruvian we gonna stay at her house when we get there.
only been in the city one day and im allready diein g to get out to the country
